New Division Manager at EQOS Energie in Luxembourg

Stefan Gillis is responsible for the company’s Communications Technology business unit with immediate effect

Foetz, 11 October 2016 – After successfully completing its restructuring, EQOS Energie Luxembourg is paving the way to growth – in communications technology as well as the overhead lines section. For this purpose, the company has been able to secure a tried and trusted specialist: Stefan Gillis will be taking over the management of communications technology with immediate effect and will be responsible for its further development.

The native Belgian has many years of experience. After working for Imtech-Telecom and Siemens, he was entrusted with developing the Communications Technology business unit of ALPINE-ENERGIE in Belgium between 2010 and 2013. This was followed by career stages with Ericsson and the Belgian network operator Telenet (formerly BASE). ‘I am delighted to be working for EQOS Energie and being able, in a certain sense, to follow up on my previous work with the company. Our objective is sustainable growth,’ says Gillis.

In Luxembourg EQOS Energie provides a complete range of services in communications technology, from planning through implementation and maintenance, to turnkey projects with project management. In the medium term, an expansion of our activities to Belgium and France cannot be ruled out.
